    Frequently Asked Questions

    Where are Boxxa trailers made?
They're built at our factory in Kentisbeare, Devon, so you're buying a UK-manufactured trailer, not an import.
What sizes do Boxxa trailers come in?
The range runs from a compact 6' x 4' up to 12' x 6', with internal heights of 4', 5' or 6' depending on the model. Each size comes in single or twin axle, and braked or unbraked, so there's a setup for most jobs.
Do I need a braked or unbraked trailer?
In the UK an unbraked trailer can't exceed 750kg gross weight (trailer plus load). If you're carrying heavier loads you'll need a braked model. Your car's handbook will also tell you its maximum towing weight for both braked and unbraked trailers, so check that first. If you're unsure, give us a call and we'll point you to the right one.
What's the difference between single and twin axle?
Single axle trailers are lighter, cheaper and easier to move by hand. Twin axle trailers are more stable on the road, spread the load better and suit bigger sizes and heavier cargo, which is why the larger 10' and 12' Boxxas are twin axle only.
What can I use a Boxxa trailer for?
Pretty much anything that needs secure, covered transport. Tradespeople use them for tools and equipment, they're popular for moving house, events, market traders and hobby kit. Being fully enclosed, your load stays dry and out of sight.
